岭南堂 (Lǐngnán Táng) represents Huang families from the Southern Ridge (Lingnan) region of Guangdong Province, home to the largest Huang population in China today.

Historical Development
Early Settlement

During the Three Kingdoms period, the region was part of Eastern Wu, with increased Han Chinese settlement.
Tang-Song Prosperity
The Tang and Song dynasties saw significant development. Trade through Canton (Guangzhou) brought prosperity.
Ming-Qing Migration
Major migration waves during Ming and Qing brought many Huang families to the region, particularly from Fujian and Jiangxi.
