卢瓯武，浙江温州人，出生于一个海湾古镇的“浙商”家庭，中学辍学后，经历了七年的艺匠生涯。他博闻强识，在青年时代自学了文学、法律、机械等知识。早在上世纪70年代就创办了“木炭加热，马灯照明”的胶木电器厂，是温州地区较早的私营企业家。同时，他酷爱文学创作，兼任《中国乡镇企业》杂志社顾问、《江南视野》杂志社顾问等职。自上世纪90年代起，卢瓯武一直从事社会团体工作，曾连任数届地方机械模具协会会长，现任中国地区开发促进会副秘书长、北京中诚时代文化传播有限公司董事长等职。他还擅长大型活动策划，先后组织过上百次大型社会活动，接待过数百次招商考察团，对中国原产地分布及各区域经济现状有较深的研究，是我国知名的文化创意者及社会活动家。本书是他多年潜心研究的精华所在，是推介“特色产业品牌”的经典之作。
