西藏是很多人的向往和梦想所在，你可以用很多词汇去形容她，比如神秘，湛蓝，信仰，纯真……而每个人对这些印象的表达却又不尽相同。 眼神是心灵的窗户，涂文安选择了眼神，他用西藏人的眼神来表达对西藏的理解。或羞涩，或好奇，或微笑，或达观，或忧郁……但不管它们表情如何，纯净是它们共同的特征。这种纯净不掺杂一丝尘俗，淳朴、清澈，仿佛看穿来者的灵魂，又让人涌起一种久违的感动。 对于那些久在闹市的人来说，这样的一个眼神足够涤荡疲惫的身心。涂文安不是第一个拍摄西藏的人，但他却是一个老到的摄影人，他把自己的切入点选择得恰如其分。 在世界上最艰苦的环境中，西藏人坚守着自己的信仰，创造出了灿烂的文化。他们坦然面对困难，执着耕耘生活。外人眼中的神秘、风情以及困难，只不过是他们生活中的应有之意。所以，面对镜头，他们的眼神是那样的纯净、清澈。 可能你会被西藏的广袤所打动，可能你会被西藏的民歌所撼动，但你一定会被西藏的眼神所感动。这个时候，你才明白，原来纯净也是一种力量，一种感动心灵的力量。 涂文安是一个很好的交流者。他用自己的镜头建立起了读者和藏民沟通的桥梁，通过照片，我们感觉正在和他们的眼神对视着，并为他们的清澈眼神所打动。我想，这种力量，其实来源于涂文安心灵的虔诚。只有有着虔诚心灵的人，才会领悟这种纯净，才会摄入这种纯净，才会表现这种纯净。面对西藏的人们，涂文安心怀虔诚，他不是以一个旁观者的姿态去审视他们，而是做为他们中的一部分，与他们平等地交流。 中国摄影家协会副主席 朱宪民 2006年7月28日
The power of purityTibet is the adream heaven of so many people.You can use mystery, blueness,belief and purity to describe her, but how to express them?Everyone has his own way.Eyes are the windows of the soul. Mr.Tu Wenan chooses the eyes of the Tibetan as the way to express his sensation about the Tibet. The expression in their eyes are various: shy, curious, smiling or mopish, but the purity is their common characteristic.This purity has not a little worldliness, and is unvarnished and limpid. It can look through the soul of tourists and make them deeply affected.To the people lived in city,this kind of expression in the eyes is enough to drive their exhaustion away.Tu Wenan is not the first person to take photograph about Tibet, but he shows tact in describing the Tibet.He chooses the expression in the eyes of the Tibetan as his way to describe the Tibet,and this is so felicitous.In the hardest environments of the world , the Tibetan stick to their belief and created great civilization.When facing difficulties they are calm and forbearing.They take the mystery and difficulties considered by us as the parts of their life.So,the expression of their eyes are very pure and limpid.You are maybe touched by the amplitude of Tibet,or you are maybe touched by the folk songs of Tibet .But you must be touched by the purity of the expression in eyes of Tibetan.Just at this time,you can understand that the purity also is a kind of power, which can touch you.Mr. Tu Wenan is a good communicator. He constructed a bridge connecting reader and Tibet by his photography works.Through his works we feel that we are staring at the eyes of Tibet and are touched by them.I think this power is from Tu Wenan’s purity of his soul.Only the pure people can understand this purity, shoot this purity and express this purity. Tu Wenan does not look down on Tibetan as a bystander,and he communiates with them as a part of them.
